Call for Volunteers
Contemplative Outreach of St. Louis (COSTL) supports individuals practicing or drawn to practicing Centering Prayer. We do this through our programs, our resources, and our prayer groups, all of which are described on this web site.
Your service is needed!
You can be of service to the Centering Prayer community by joining the volunteers who make all of this possible. It is a way of passing the gift of Centering Prayer on to others. And, as you serve others, you deepen your own engagement with the Spirit of this community.
Especially needed are individuals who will participate on our retreat team. This service does not require that you make a presentation at the retreat itself, but rather that you help in identifying the focus and speakers for the particular retreat, or by publicizing the retreat or managing registrations, or by acting as a host at the retreat itself, and so on.
We also welcome individuals who are willing to serve by participating on the teams that develop and execute our other programs, including Silent Saturday and the Go Deeper and Introductory Workshop programs. We also would be happy to add another volunteer to nurture our free lending library.
