Centering Prayer Introductory Workshop – Nov. 2

Filed in Centering Prayer workshop, Events, News by on October 25, 2019

Centering Prayer is a method of prayer that comes out of the Christian tradition. It heightens our awareness of the presence of God and thus fosters the contemplative attitudes of listening and receptivity. It is not contemplation in the strict sense, which in the Catholic tradition has always been regarded as a pure gift of the Spirit, but rather it is a preparation for contemplation by reducing the obstacles caused by the hyperactivity of our minds and hearts.  For more information or to register please contact Sr. Carol Orf at 314-560-1028 or
