Centering Prayer Intro. Workshop — Mar. 7, 1-5 pm

Filed in Centering Prayer workshop, Events, News by on February 21, 2020

Come explore a prayer practice that has its roots in the ancient Christian tradition. As the 46th Psalm invites us to meet God in the stillness, Centering Prayer offers an opportunity to do just that. Centering Prayer is a practice – a discipline, if you will, that opens us to an experience of Christ’s presence in our daily lives. “Through grace we open our awareness to God whom we know by faith is within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than choosing – closer than consciousness itself.”
