Welcoming Prayer Enrichment/Formation Workshop – Sept. 26-30

Filed in Events, News, Welcome by on August 3, 2018

The Four Consents chapter, out of Invitation to Love, is a clear vision of what the Spiritual Journey is all about—growing in our ability to love without limits and the healing of the emotional wounds of our lifetimes.   The Fourth Consent is the Consent to be Transformed and the Welcoming Prayer is our active participation in the consent to be transformed. Thomas says the Welcoming Prayer is necessary for our transformation and is the compliment to Centering Prayer like the second wing a bird needs to fly.

You and the members of your chapter are cordially invited to participate in an exciting, new encounter with the Welcoming Prayer.  It is our hope that through this experience we will be able to explore new dimensions of sharing the Welcoming Prayer as a learning community.  If you discern that your chapter needs Welcoming Prayer presenters, we ask you to forward this message and the link to the formation application to people whom you recommend.  The following prerequisites to attend this workshop are:

  • Have a daily practice of Centering Prayer

If someone is not currently a commissioned presenter, but is interested in formation, he/she will also be considered. Contact Jim McElroy (314.657.7234) with any questions.
