Soul Trekkers – Sitting with Sound and Silence – Saturday, December 2, 2023, 9:00-11:30am

“Soul Trekkers” invite you to journey through short frequency meditations, with crystal bowls, chimes and other instruments.

Many spiritual teachers and gurus emphasize the idea that We Are One. One with Nature. One with Others. One with Self. One with God. If actively sought, these threads of connections can be found, directly or indirectly. The science of frequency and energy is one common thread that is found through every walk of life and every culture. Silence is even a therapeutic frequency. Through crystal bowls, chimes and other instruments Missy Bazzill brings an inner connection that is fruitful, rewarding and enhanced by silence and space between the notes.

In this trek, Missy will guide the group along a journey through short frequency meditations. Through interactive internal alignment, external elements, intuitive flow and silence, we will sit and allow the sounds to bathe us. We invite you to observe the way different frequencies, sounds and silence are sensed throughout the body, stimulate different thoughts and memories, bring relief to wounds and/or possibly release blockages. As Father Thomas Keating says, “all we need to do is wave them good-bye.” Welcome all emotions in this safe environment. Allowing the free flow of grace and the natural energies of the body to be available to the Divine Therapist. Please join us as we enter into the Sacred Season of waiting as we begin Advent. This will help you through the busy holiday seasons.

There will be an opportunity to participate in Centering Prayer with guidelines read beforehand. We will offer a short sharing session to hear how aligning and opening through frequencies may help us connect closer to God through the Silence. We are happy and excited to see what this experience can bring to strengthen our God consciousness, Human connection, and Self-realization, as well as offer a Spiritual getaway to ground and center in the middle of the busy holiday season.

***STRONG SUGGESTION: Bring yoga mat, blanket or pillow (or all of the above) to sit, lay or cover up with. Comfort is key.
