The Wounded Healer archetype is a concept coined by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung. It suggests that healers, often those who have experienced trauma themselves, possess unique curative power for others.

Acknowledging there is a Wounded Healer in all of us, we will review contemplative teachings that explore the concept of trauma healing and spiritual wholeness.

COSTL 35th Anniversary Contemplative Service and Dinner Celebration — Saturday, August 10, 2024  4:00 pm – 8:00 pm

COSTL past, present and future members are invited to celebrate our 35th Anniversary as a Contemplative Outreach Chapter in St. Louis. We will begin with a Contemplative Taize service, enjoy a celebratory meal, hear some of COSTL’s story from guest speakers, share gratitude for the contemplative practices and look toward to the future of our community.
