Contemplative Outreach St. Louis invites you to a quiet morning of prayer and fellowship to rest in the Divine Presence.
If you have been unable to attend a Contemplative Outreach retreat or have a hard time fitting in longer daily prayer periods or a Lectio Divina practice our Silent Saturdays offer a taste of “going deeper” into the silence- God’s first language.
As Valentine’s Day invites reflection on love, and Lent draws us toward simplicity and return, this shared morning of silence offers a natural pause to listen more deeply and renew our consent to God’s presence and action within.
If you are considering attending the upcoming July retreat, these mini-retreat mornings can also serve as a helpful and prayerful preparation.

Flow of the Day:
- Welcome and Gathering
- 1st Centering Prayer period
- Meditative Walk
- 2nd Centering Prayer period
- 15 minute silent break
- 3rd Centering Prayer period or Lectio Divina

There is no fee for this event but if you would like to make a donation of $10 or any amount to help cover our rent, website maintenance, scholarship fund and other expenses, it will be gratefully accepted. This is purely a suggestion and not meant to be a barrier to attendance. All are welcome.
