Autumn Prayer Morning – Sat., Nov. 11, 8:30-Noon

Prayer is not so much a way to find God as a way of resting in God… who loves us, who is near to us.

—Thomas Merton

Have you always wanted to develop a consistent prayer practice?  Looking for a “time away” to deepen your relationship with God?  Hoping to enter Advent with a renewed perspective on your faith?

Holy Communion Episcopal Church is hosting a morning of prayer on Saturday, November 11th.  We are pulling from our staff and parishioners, as well as a national presenter to provide you with an opportunity to learn, pray, and practice several forms of prayer and reflection.

Sessions will include:

  • An overview of Centering Prayer,
  • An introduction to the Welcoming Prayer, and
  • A chance to learn more about labyrinths and their value as a prayer practice
